Not having correct process data makes optimization a difficult task. The first step of an optimization project should therfore always be an advanced data validation and reconciliation step. Ask yourself, if you want to increase margin by 2% but the actual margin itself is calculated with an uncertainty of 6%, how can you measure the actual impact of the changes?
