Description of Developments

Data Mining:

Enable a connection between VALI and third party Data Mining Software.

PIMS:

Have a more detailed integration with different PIMS when developing models, in order to automatically have more info (Bounds, Accuracy.) on tags.

Convert ASCII to XML:

Convert model file and reports file from ASCII to XML to allow third party to easily read information from Belsim data files.

CAPE-OPEN:

Develop a CAPE-OPEN Thermo socket to allow users to plug third party Thermodynamic packages with VALI.

Debugging:

Improve the way to debug VALI applications.

FLEX builder:

Develop a graphical user interface where you can easily build and maintain FLEX code.

Pressure Drop on COLVAL:

Simplify the pressure drop definition when modeling a distillation column with the COLVAL model.

LUMP Measurement:

Possibility to define composition measurements on the total content of several compounds

Custom colors:

Possibility to define custom colors on objects (units/streams) depending on user defined settings. For example, show all streams with the same thermodynamic model.

Show Connections between PFDs:

Display on the graphical user interface the connections between the different PFDs.

Bidirectional streams:

Allow using a stream in both directions depending on the state of the process.

Add shape with info text:

Give the possibility to define a shape around a set of objects (PFDs, units.) and add text anywhere on the flowsheet.
